OUR VISION

1. In the trouble-torn World Today, Interfaith Understanding is the only Way. As it is said: there cannot be peace in the world without peace among communities and there cannot be peace among communities without interfaith dialogue and understanding.
2. The root cause of religious conflicts is lop-sided and wrong interpretation and understanding of the religion and culture. The essence of all religions is spirituality, morality, love, tolerance, and belief in the innate dignity, equality, and brotherhood of man, irrespective of gender, creed, caste, or race.

OUR MISSION & GOALS

The objects of the AIC Trust are following

· To promote interfaith understanding, and strive for National Integration

• To foster a culture of liberal views and tolerance.
• To promote Spirituality and morality in society.
• To project and spread Spirituality and liberal, the peace-loving message of religions and training of youth with this perspective
• Propagation of the culture of tolerance and the ideals of interfaith understanding.
• To undertake charity work for the betterment of downtrodden sections of society.
• Digitalization of religious sources.
• To establish educational and research institutions and a Virtual Interfaith University

OUR ACTIVITIES:

• We organize Conferences, Seminars, workshops and collaborate with organizations working for interfaith Dialogue and Understanding, on National and International levels. To develop a think tank of young scholars and community leaders.
• We are undertaking research in the field of Comparative Beliefs and Inter-Faith Understanding. AIC is working on a series of books on the ‘Theology of Peace-Building in Islam and other religions.
• We have launched AIC Publications. Several books have been published and there are many in the pipeline.
• We are active in developing websites, E-library. Aligarh Interfaith Center has a vibrant website http://aiccenter.com/  which is working to achieve our goals.
• We are publishing standard Interfaith Journals. Aligarh Interfaith Centre has peer-reviewed ISSN E-Journal -Aligarh Journal of Interfaith Studies (AJIS) with the address http://aiccenter.com/ajis/
• We are going to start two courses: (i) Certificate Course in Interfaith Understanding (ii) Certificate Course in Islamic Theology of Peace-Building.
•  In the future, we look forward to establishing educational institutions and madrasa wing to promote our ideals
